Adopt good habits now to preserve the shine of your jewellery
- Remember to remove your jewellery before going to bed, showering, bathing or when playing sports
- Avoid contact of your jewellery with your cosmetic or cleaning products (perfume, creams, hydroalcoholic gel, etc.). To start your day off right, put on your jewellery after your beauty treatment!
- Avoid wearing your jewellery when you are in very humid places
- Store your jewellery carefully in a jewelry box or in a pretty Joyamada pouch, away from light and humidity, avoiding mixing metals.
18k Gold Plated & 18k Rose Gold Plated Jewellery
- Clean your jewellery carefully as soon as you remove it using a soft, non-abrasive cloth to preserve its shine
- Take some toothpaste and gently scrub your jewellery, rinse it with cold water and wipe it with a soft microfiber cloth, this will also enhance its shine
- You can also soak your 18k gold plated jewellery once a month in a bowl of water with mild soap and clean it thoroughly using a soft toothbrush (this is important), especially for jewellery adorned with stones around which residue can accumulate.
Jewelry in Sterling Silver & Rhodium-plated Sterling Silver
- Gently clean your jewellery with warm, soapy water; be careful, it is important to rinse and dry it well.
- Polish your jewellery and revive its shine using a specific silverware product
- Homemade tips, such as using white vinegar or toothpaste, are also effective, provided you have a soft cloth to avoid any scratches.
