Our Jewellery care advices

How to take care of your jewellery?

Discover Joyamada’s essentials

Our jewellery is durable, water-resistant and hypoallergenic. Adopting good habits now to preserve their shine is still very important:

  • Remember to remove your jewellery before going to bed, showering, bathing or when playing sports
  • Avoid contact of your jewellery with your cosmetic or cleaning products (perfume, creams, hydroalcoholic gel, etc.). To start your day off right, put on your jewellery after your beauty treatment!
  • Avoid wearing your jewellery when you are in very humid places
  • Store your jewellery carefully in a jewelry box or in a pretty Joyamada pouch, away from light and humidity, avoiding mixing metals.

18k Gold Plated & 18k Rose Gold Plated Jewellery

  • Clean your jewellery carefully as soon as you remove it using a soft, non-abrasive cloth to preserve its shine
  • Take some toothpaste and gently scrub your jewellery, rinse it with cold water and wipe it with a soft microfiber cloth, this will also enhance its shine
  • You can also soak your 18k gold plated jewellery once a month in a bowl of water with mild soap and clean it thoroughly using a soft toothbrush (this is important), especially for jewellery adorned with stones around which residue can accumulate.
