925 Silver
Silver is a solid material, guaranteed lead-free, nickel-free and cadmium-free. However, it must be protected from knocks or scratches and maintained regularly. Find here our tips for taking care of your beloved jewellery.
Most of our silver jewellery is rhodium-plated 925 silver. In other words, they are made from 925/1000 Sterling Silver before being electroplated with a thin 0.3 micron layer of rhodium. This fine layer of rhodium, a rare and precious metal in the platinum family, gives your jewellery maximum brilliance and offers additional protection against oxidation.
All our silver jewellery is officially hallmarked, certifying that it complies with current regulations and guaranteeing its authenticity. For aesthetic reasons, the hallmark is usually located on the reverse of the jewel, inside the hoop or on the clasp.
18k Gold plated
Each piece of gold-plated jewellery offered by Joyamada is designed from a brass base, coated with a minimum 3-micron plating of 750/1000 gold (18 carats). Only jewellery made to the highest standards is gold-plated. What's more, they are guaranteed nickel- and cadmium-free.
We are proud to work with responsible manufacturers who use 95% recycled gold baths to minimise our overall environmental impact. Like our 925 silver jewellery, our 18-carat gold-plated jewellery is officially hallmarked to certify its conformity and quality. You can find each hallmark discreetly positioned on your jewellery to guarantee a more aesthetic appearance.
18K Rose Gold Plated
As with our gold-plated pieces, our 18-carat pink gold-plated jewellery is also made from a brass base coated with a layer of 3 thousandths of a millimetre of recycled 750/1000 (18-carat) gold. They are guaranteed lead-, nickel- and cadmium-free.
Your jewellery is discreetly hallmarked to guarantee its authenticity and compliance with current regulations.

316L Stainless Steel
Our stainless steel jewellery guarantees brilliance and strength, in a material that suits everyone. In fact, 316L stainless steel is different from conventional steel. It is also known as "surgical steel" for its hypoallergenic properties. 316L stainless steel is a metal alloy renowned for its exceptional resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
Our gold-plated jewellery in 316L stainless steel is produced using the ionisation process. As well as guaranteeing that the gold on our jewellery holds up extraordinarily well, this method is also environmentally friendly and generates no waste or loss of material.
Our Gemstones
We offer beautiful jewellery adorned with fine or natural gemstones in our collection. These gemstones bring a unique elegance to each piece, with subtle variations in size and colour that make each piece distinctive.
Some of our jewellery also features synthetic or engineered stones, which are distinguished by their more homogenous appearance and uniform aesthetic. When we use synthetic stones, this is clearly indicated in the description of the product concerned.
