925 Silver
Silver is a solid material, guaranteed lead-free, nickel-free and cadmium-free. However, it must be protected from knocks or scratches and maintained regularly. Find here our tips for taking care of your beloved jewelry.
Most of our silver jewelry is in rhodium-plated 925 silver. That is to say, they are made from silver graded 925/1000 before being coated, by electrolysis, with a thin layer of 0.3 microns of rhodium. This thin layer of rhodium, a precious and rare metal from the Platinum family, gives your jewelry maximum shine and offers additional protection against oxidation.
An official hallmark is affixed to all our silver jewelry, which certifies their compliance with current regulations and guarantees their authenticity. For aesthetic reasons, the hallmark is most often located on the reverse of the jewelry, inside the bails or even on the clasps.
18k Gold plated
Each Gold Plated piece of jewelry offered at Joyamada is designed from a brass base, coated with a plating of at least 3 microns based on 750/1000 Gold, i.e. 18 carats. Only these jewels, whose manufacturing meets the highest standards, benefit from the Gold Plated designation. In addition, they are guaranteed nickel and cadmium free.
We are proud to work with responsible suppliers who use recycled Gold-based baths to minimize our overall environmental impact. Just like our 925 Silver jewelry, our 18-carat Gold Plated jewelry is officially hallmarked to attest to its conformity and quality. You will be able to find each hallmark positioned discreetly on your jewelry to guarantee a more aesthetic appearance.
18k pink Gold plated18K Rose Gold Plated
As with our Gold Plated pieces, our 18 carat Rose Gold Plated jewelry is also made from a brass base covered with a layer of 3 thousandths of a millimeter of 750/1000 Gold, or 18 carats, recycled. They are guaranteed lead, nickel and cadmium free.
A hallmark is discreetly affixed to your jewelry to guarantee their authenticity and compliance with current regulations.
An 18-carat gold-plated jewel, classically yellow but also pink, offers a guarantee of quality over time. If you take care of it, it retains its original shine for several years. To do this, do not hesitate to consult our maintenance advice here.
316L Stainless Steel
Our stainless steel jewellery guarantees brilliance and strength, in a material that suits everyone. In fact, 316L stainless steel is different from conventional steel. It is also known as "surgical steel" for its hypoallergenic properties. 316L stainless steel is a metal alloy renowned for its exceptional resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
Our gold-plated jewellery in 316L stainless steel is produced using the ionisation process. As well as guaranteeing that the gold on our jewellery holds up extraordinarily well, this method is also environmentally friendly and generates no waste or loss of material.
Our Gemstones

Some of our jewellery also features synthetic or engineered stones, which are distinguished by their more homogenous appearance and uniform aesthetic. When we use synthetic stones, this is clearly indicated in the description of the product concerned.
